Born and educated in St Petersburg, Russia, Tanya Hilton first became interested in the piano at the age of five and later went on to study at the Music Conservatoire in Nizhny Novgorod. She has worked as a pianist and accompanist at Nizhny Novgorod Music School and Music Theatre and as a soloist and concertmaster for Nizhny Novgorod Philharmonic. She moved to the United Kingdom in 2000 where she is active both as an accompanist and as a soloist.
