Came to its XII edition, the elegant fair Giardini in Fiera will be held this year on 16th, 17th, 18th September in the park of Villa Le Corti, in San Casciano Val di Pesa, a few kilometers far from Florence. The heart of this edition is represented by nurserymen specialized in different types of flowers, producers and collectors of botanic rarities. The Leitmotiv of this edition is Altri giardini, altri orti. Artemisia Absinthium. The Artemisia Absinthium or wormwood is an aromatic and officinal herbaceous plant which spontaniously grows in dry, sunburnt and uncultivated fields.
Such plant will inspire the partecipants of the “Idee di Progetto” contest, during which landscape architects will compete for the realisation of original gardens. Giardini in Fiera offers other important appointments: the conferences on Friday and Saturday and the contemporary art exhibition curated by Gian Enzo Sperone, which will be held in the courtyard of the Villa.
Giardini in Fiera is a moment for pastimes and pleasure, where time is measured by the rythm of nature: an occasion not to be missed in one of the most charming Tuscan places.
